For me - just my opinion …

A too busy dial. I would prefer something more reduced. Otherwise your suggestions make a lot of sense and spice for this piece.

Chopard L.U.C Time Traveler One Steel. A possible WatchProSite Edition?
By: amanico : May 2nd, 2024-07:26
Ok, I have to contact Chopard to see if it is possible to work from this watch to get a WPS 25th Edition. Let's keep it in steel, for the budget. Then, let's think of the modifications we could work on to make it " ours ". 1/ The dial: what about Airport ...
One watch I recently looked at…,
By: sc16 : May 2nd, 2024-07:59
So fantastic option… My humble input 1/ The dial: what about Airport codes instead of cities name? Great! I would keep it black, but change the orange indices and hands for another color. Red? Date hand in red, too. Black indeed - indeed Red indices and ...

a new case size would blow any budget, surely.
By: jaspermccrea : May 2nd, 2024-10:44
Not sure why I'm commenting since I've blown the next two years' budget already so I definitely can't afford it I love the orange accents, my ideal tto would be a dial the blue of this 911, but brushed vertically, with orange lume, and an arena caseback. ...
I really like the idea....!
By: @lberti : May 2nd, 2024-11:47
My input as follows: For me it has to be in steel! I am a fan of tantalum, but not of the color that comes with... Airport codes would make more sense, since this is a traveller watch and the wearer should know his destination (hopefully!) This will clean...
I wonder if this fits into the hunter XPS case
By: TeutonicCarFan : May 2nd, 2024-18:26
That is 40mm, hunter back very cool too. Can have engraving. Would be very cool to have hand engraved watchrpsite edition 2/25 for example. I like actual edition # instead of " 1 of 25". Also for dial simplicity I like the GMT better, now the world time p...
Here's another suggestion.
By: Boris : May 2nd, 2024-12:08
Hong Kong rather than Beijing for the cities. Besides, HKG is far more intuitive than PVG as far as airport codes are concerned.
Yes!

I think 2 plain model frm Chopard may nudging fit the 10k bill as well. 😆 Both are micro rotor which interest me.😜 ...
Actually World timer should stay fr the 30k budget which not my level,
By: iceheller 1945 ✌️ : May 2nd, 2024-13:49
And each country capital should stay less USA as it cover multiple TimeZone. The 3 hands version is fr 10k budget but use normal micro rotor instead of precious metal to keep it below 10k. With both budget at Chopard, it may enhance the negotiation and ma...

Too busy for me

A LUC GMT on the other hand (no date)
LOL!

I see!

I love the idea and your suggestions
By: mrds : May 2nd, 2024-15:02
I would leave the case size and material unchanged due to budget. Love the airport codes. The only change from your suggestions: I would prefer a red-dark grey ring instead of a red-blue one. Red-blue is Rolex GMT.
A&B
By: Gelato Monster : May 2nd, 2024-15:28
If I have to choose between A&B I will take steel but with Black dial
Awesome idea, Nico!
By: Lankysudanese : May 2nd, 2024-18:56
But I’d also vote for simple time-only with steel or titanium and a micro-rotor QF movement.
:)))
By: amanico : May 2nd, 2024-20:16
Ok!
By: amanico : May 2nd, 2024-20:16
Beautiful WT, my humble suggestion
By: SALMANPK : May 2nd, 2024-23:31
Why not go for a GPHG Winner and ask them to do a WT as you want in Steel for less than 5k and it will be unique to WPS as they don't make a WT version of the watch yet Pic Source: Raymond Weil S ...
Great idea.
By: MilDiver : May 3rd, 2024-05:20
My preference would be for a watch I can wear at many occasions, if it was a watch in the thin Alpine Eagle case form like the XPS and special dial it would be perfect. 2nd choice would be a normal AE in Ti like the cadence with a normal movement but a sp...

Love the idea and this reference!
By: Watchmatician : May 3rd, 2024-15:25
Another vote for smaller case (40mm would be amazing). I also agree on a pop of color rather than monochrome. Red seems to be a good choice. I like the idea of airport codes but not sure how it would look. Depending on the design and font size, the city (...

Closed case back with engraving of WPS-25 All in for Airport codes...not sure any WT has it before so will be quite unique too Enamel dial might be complex looking at 24h ring but between Tantalum vs Enamel dial - I'll go Enamel dial ! Best, mahesh.,
I have the same opinion as Penfriend
By: Weems@8 : May 3rd, 2024-22:22
Busy dial. Personally black dials i skip, except Karls Royal Oak and Moser’s Vanta black. But Chopard have a beautiful GMT One in the pocket, available with a brown and black dial. The rosé gold model goes over 10k, so that is over budget.
I like the idea, generally.
By: Jay (Eire) : May 5th, 2024-15:06
I don’t know this watch so hard to comment specifically on the reference itself. However, I do like the airport codes and the general idea of a World Timer. 40mm or below I think it a critical choice. Not that you couldn’t have enough interest for a 25 pi...
