Ok, another question…

Would you guys think it’s ok to change out my white gold fluted bezel for a diamond one? 😆 I know it’s not many peoples’ taste but maybe it would look good with my factory diamond dial? Or would that be ruining it? Also, would Rolex not service it if it w...

Depends on the look you are going for

If you do make sure they return the original piece with the watch so you can always have the option of swapping it back. It’s not my personal aesthetic but you do you and enjoy it!!

Thanks!

I would def ask for the original bezel back in case I changed my mind but am more hesitant cause I kind of like that the white gold is not really outright flashy as a yellow or rose gold version DD would be, and so I feel totally comfortable wearing it to...

I think your watch is just perfect.

I personally wouldn’t touch it.

Thanks Gary.

I may just leave it alone. Thanks for the feedback. - Rich

If you like it and can afford it then why not? It's your watch, just keep the original one safe and you're done.

Thanks guys for your input.

I’m gonna get more info on sources and hope I can find more pics on wrist to see if I am swayed to do it. I am a little afraid it wouldn’t be good as a daily wear thing anymore.

If it makes you smile more than without the diamond bezel,

then by all means go ahead and do it. Don't worry about what other people think unless they're giving you the watch for free.

Thanks guys. I’ve made up my mind

To not do it, as I’ve looked at various photos of it, and have decided it just doesn’t look as good as with the fluted bezel. Reason I was considering is because I have a diamond wedding band and I thought it would match well with it, but then saw the 2nd...

I see no issue going for diamond bezel but

Should be a nice and "arranged" bezel and as long as you keep the original. Rolex will service as years ago it was a common practice to use after-market diamonds.

by "arranged" I mean nice stones.

There are diamond bezels that look like randomly placed stones, and there are other, with matching size stones, coherent placement etc. Take a look at this Chopard. loaded and paved with stones, but it looks like a graphical art, ...

Ah yes

Ok, thanks for explaining. I do sometimes see aftermarket bezels that look like they were put together haphazardly with stones that do not look right.
