I think my favorite one is the old ceramic one, which seems to be out of production now. The black one in the picture is actually carbon.

Many of their gold Octo Finissimo watches have this hollowed out bracelet...

They'll say it's for "purity" of the design and for bracelet counter-balancing. They'll probably also say that many brands have watches with hollow gold bracelets, Rolex especially for decades, until around 15 years ago.

There's probably only 2-3 ounces of pure gold in the entire watch! Very negligible.

For me, as much as I love the model, it is still too big (wide) for my wrist, that's my problem. Otherwise, I would have bought one already.
