Our wood privacy fence is at the point

where it needs to be replaced. I'm not sure I want to put one back up.
Kids are gone and there is no dog. If the neighbors want one they can put one up.
Last time we did it all the neighbors did was complain about how long it was down
because they had a dog, another neighbor complained about which way the fence
was going to face and another complained becuase his garden butted up against
the fence. Fence company came in andf took the fence down and left it piled in the
middle of the back yard for over a week in the middle of the hot summer, killed
all the grass under the pile. I called the city and asked if I was obligated to put
it back up if I took it down, I was told no, so the next fence may be up to the
neighbors on all sides. But then I am at the mercy of whatever they decide to do
and I DO NOT want a chain link fence. Oh, the joys of home ownership.
Condo life looks better everyday.
